motivation

We are three seasoned men who try to escape every-days life. We do not seek for fame nor money – it is all about sharing emotions and ideas – an act of love. And that love writes it’s stories and with it tinef writes those songs, inspired by the all day chaos, human disputes, hopes and fears – sometimes gently like a blade of grass, sometimes irascible like a hurricane…
And the propulsion for yelling questions in the wind is simply the gratitude to examine a single echo, a single individual in front of the stage who excited yanks the hands…

history

Like every single thing in the world, there also was a day we came to birth. That was 2006. For some it may be an important fact, but we are to young to evoke the idea of an historical context we might have. Look at yourself, the disastrous time you are living in! You will need some power to face the million heads of the hydra – just like we do. For many brave musicians the shortcomings of their society became an inspiring source for composing their melodies. I love to sing about the power everyone carries inside himself: FEAR! That is what unites and divides the people on the globe. The strongest force of all. Everything has to be destroyed – accomplish space for new forms and shapes!

Mit Gefühl und Sensibilität erzählt die Band ‘Tinef’ von Enttäuschungen, Scheitern, Ängsten und Neuanfängen. Mit melancholisch-sehnsüchtigen, bis hin zu kraftvollen musikalischen Umsetzungen, schafft es die Band ihre Emotionen auf das Publikum zu übertragen, ohne den Hörer mit Schwermut zu ertränken. Am Ende ihrer Lieder steht meist ein Licht, ein Ausweg aus den schweren Gedanken, und die lebendigen Melodien reißen den Hörer aus seiner Melancholie heraus und bringen ihn zum Tanzen. Trotz anspruchsvoller Texte und tiefgründigen Themen bleibt die Musik von ‘Tinef’ zugänglich und überzeugend. Die Sensibilität mit der die Melodien und Texte liebevoll erarbeitet wurden, lassen diese Musik unter die Haut gehen…
